Is Beautycounter Gluten Free?

July 19, 2017

A question I get asked quite often ... because people with gluten allergies need to be careful what they are putting on and in their bodies.

So, here is the answer:

The Plumping Facial Mask and Plumping Facial Mist in our Beautycounter+ Plumping Collection contain Rye Seed Extract, which contains gluten.

To our knowledge, the remainder of our products do not contain gluten, a protein found primarily in wheat and other grains. However, none of our products are certified gluten-free, because our manufacturing partners are not certified gluten-free.

As always, we encourage customers who have serious allergies to consult a doctor or conduct a patch test before using any product.
